Active Minds (Mind in Croydon): Free Wellbeing & Mental Health Service in Croydon
## What is Active Minds? Active Minds is a wellbeing programme run by Mind in Croydon that promotes physical and mental health by supporting people with experience of mental health problems to make healthy lifestyle changes. The service offers a wide range of free activities both in-person and online, designed to break down barriers to community participation. In-person activities include Walk and Talk sessions, Kriya Yoga (adaptable to seated positions), mindfulness and relaxation sessions, the Safe Space Cafe, badminton, table tennis, and Indian Martial Arts. Online sessions include morning and evening health habits, seated yoga, mindfulness, and social catch-up groups. The programme is funded by Sport England, City Bridge Trust, and NHS IAPT. ## Who Can Use Active Minds? Anyone with experience of mental health problems can access Active Minds. You don't need a diagnosis or to be under mental health services - lived experience of mental health difficulties is the only requirement. You can refer yourself or be referred by any professional providing support. Activities are designed to be welcoming regardless of fitness level or ability. ## How Do I Access Active Minds?
