SLaM CAMHS Mental Health Support Team providing early-intervention guided self-help (face-to-face, phone or online) via Education Wellbeing Practitioners, screening (incl. autism/ADHD), school staff training and workshops across Croydon partner schools, plus an Emotional Wellbeing Helpline.
Who is it for?
Children and young people in Croydon (attending partner schools/colleges) experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues such as exam stress, low mood, anxiety, behavioural and friendship difficulties; early intervention. Email croydoncamhsmail@slam.nhs.uk.
How to access
School-linked: parents/carers/young people speak to school staff (SENCO, inclusion manager, pastoral team) who contact the linked MHST practitioner. Emotional Wellbeing Helpline (07702 339000) open to children, young people, parents and school staff. Timing: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm; Emotional Wellbeing Helpline Mon-Fri 9am-3.30pm.
