Anima Youth — Safe Space on Wheels: Free Community Mental Health Support for Children & Young People & for Women in Croydon
What is Anima Youth — Safe Space on Wheels?
Safe Space on Wheels is a mobile outreach service run by Anima Youth, a Croydon-based Community Interest Company supporting marginalised girls and young women. The minibus parks in North End, Croydon (outside Next) every Tuesday from 3–6pm, providing a welcoming, comfortable, and private environment where young people can access advice on safety, relationships, and wellbeing. While the service has a particular focus on preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG), boys and young men are also welcome. Staff are trained to have conversations about healthy relationships and positive behaviour with all genders.
